Double B - "Beef And Beer" - astounding combination

I have been thinking of cooking something like this for a long time, I am a huge fan of meet and alcohol combination, you can make something really special out of these two ingredients.


Ingredients:

1-1,5 kg - beef
600 g - shallots
0,5 ml - light beer
0,3 ml - boiling water
1 tablespoon - all-purpose flour
4 tablespoons - olive oil
2 tablespoon - butter
1 tablespoon - Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon - brown sugar
1 - big tomato
1 - bay leaf
1 teaspoon - sweet paprika
10 - black pepper seeds
sea salt

Directions:

1. Wash the meat in a cold water, dry it, and cut into big cubes
2. Ground 10 pepper seeds, and combine with paprika
3. Mix pepper, paprika, and all-purpose flour together
4. Roll meat in flour, and spices mix (3)
5. Warm big soup pot
6. Melt 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and 1 tablespoon of butter in the pot
7. Fry meat until golden
8. Put meat on a dish
9. Dry the pot with paper towel, and add 2 tablespoon of olive oil, and 1 tablespoon of butter
10. Fry quartered shallots, for approximately 1-2 min
11. Grind tomato, add Dijon mustard, brown sugar, and 5 pepper seeds. Combine everything well
12. Add meat to shallots
13. Pour tomato, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, and 5 pepper seeds mix into the pot with meat, and shallots. Combine everything well
14. Pour 300 ml of boiling water, and 500 ml of beer into the pot
15. Add bay leaf, cover the pot
16. Stew for 2,5-3 hours
17. Add salt 30 min before ready

Serve with spiced brown rise or spaghetti
